The IBF heavyweight champion has his next fight date set.
IBF heavyweight titlist Anthony Joshua will be back in action on November 26th,according to promoter Eddie Hearn. The venue and opponent have not yet been set, but those details are expected to be ironed out in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Hearn reportedly has the likes of Kubrat Pulev, Joseph Parker, and Bermane Stiverne on his list of possible foes.
Joshua isn’t required to begin negotiations for a mandatory title defense against Parker until November, but Parker’s promoter Dean Lonergan says he’ll be ready to take the match that month.
Lonergan told Sky Sports: “We’re ready now. If Eddie Hearn rang me up tomorrow and says we want to fight in the mandatory period, we want to fight November or December – that would be fantastic.”
Joshua is most recently coming off a TKO win over Dominic Breazeale in his first title defense this past June. He won the IBF world title by knocking out Charles Martin in two rounds in early April.
