The recently crowned WBC Latino Silver lightweight champion, Antonio Moran, says he wants to fight for the WBC world title, but first he needs to gain a tad more experience.
Accompanied by his promoter, Ricardo Maldonado, lanky Moran is convinced he has the skills to became world champion in the future. However, he`s aware he still lacks of experience to have that title bout just yet.
With 19 victories and just one defeat as a pro, Antonio commented he is a skilled boxer but that also knows how to slug toe to toe. With an amateur record of 90 winds and 10 defeats. Toño, has the foundation and the potential to build and reach the top.
At the WBC weekly press conference, WBC female light flyweight champion Ibeth “Roca” Zamora, who`s poised to defend her crown for the seventh time, advised Antonio to work extremely hard, keep learning, attentively listen to his team and to curb impetuosity in favor of intelligent patience.
