Araneta KO’s Biendima in 1st round

DAVAO CITY – Southpaw Christian “The Bomb” Araneta of Cebu landed a powerful left uppercut to Roland Jay “The Bull” Biendima of Gen. Santos City for a knockout in the 1st round in the main event of the “Kumbati 7” boxing event last Dec. 18 at the IPI Compound in Mandaue City.

It was the 19th win and 15th knockout against the lone setback by the 25-year-old Araneta, who made his second bubble boxing event.

Earlier, Araneta last won by a unanimous decision over Richard Rosales of Bohol last Oct. 7 at IPI Compound during the first ever bubble boxing event.

The bubble boxing event was the second time presented by Pio Castillo Jr. of Omega Boxing Promotion.
