ARROYO VS CUADRAS…..MORE KEEN MEXICAN VS PUERTO RICAN RIVALRY

Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo, knows that his career could rise to a whole new level on Saturday, February 24, if he defeats  former world champion Carlos ‘Príncipe’ Cuadras, at the Forum in Inglewood, California, with the WBC silver super flyweight title on the line.

The pride of Puerto Rican fighter vows he’s in the best shape  of his career; “Whenever a Mexican and a Puerto Rican are in the ring, it’s going to be a tough fight. This an old traditional rivalry, so I hope Cuadras comes very well prepared.

“My future in boxing depends on the outcome of this fight, I know that a good performance will take me to a world title match, which is my dream since I started in this sport that I love so much and in which I have sacrificed so much”, the Boricua fighter with  a record of 16 wins, 14 of them by knockout, stated..

Arroyo, who was a prominent representative of Puerto Rico in his time as an amateur, and a multiple medalist in international tournaments, said that if he wins the WBC Silver title, it’ll be a tremendous boost.
