Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo, recognizes he’s betting all of his chips against Mexican Carlos “Principe” Cuadras, because if he loses it’s probably his lot, and adios to the ring , while a victory would put him within a dice throw of contesting to the world title.
“Mexicans are tough, just like Puerto Ricans. It will be a traditional battle between Mexico and Puerto Rico. I hope that Cuadras comes well prepared, ” says the confident Caribbean fighter.
Arroyo is undergoing a rugged training camp geared up towards his clash on February 24 in the United States. This extravaganza stars Thai Srisaket Sor Sungvisai VS Aztec Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada.
“I want to be more active in the sport for which I have sacrificed and I love so much. My dream is to become a world champion as a professional, but depending on what happens in this fight, of course I would have to consider whether I continue or not,” explained the Puerto Rican.
Cuadras and Arroyo will compete for the WBC Silver Super Flyweight title at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on the Superfly 2 card.
