ATANASSOW VS. MARTIN FOR WBC INT’L FEMALE FEATHERWEIGHT CROWN FEB. 3 IN GERMANY

UNBEATEN German boxer Sandra Atanassow will face Liliana Martin of Dominican Republic for the WBC International Female featherweight crown on February 3 in Leipzig, Sachsen, Germany.
Atanassow has a clean record of seven wins with two knockouts and one draw while Martin is toting 21 wins with 13 knockouts against 17 losses and no draw.
The 10-round championship is promoted by Michael Siegel of Baden Box Promotion under the Bund Deutshcher Berufsboxer Commission.
The 33-year old Atanassow previously scored a unanimous decision against Olena Medvedenko last November 25 at the Athletik Zentrum in St. Gallen.
Martin, on the other hand won her last fight by a 3rd round technical knockout against Yoseidy Zarzuela last December 9 at the Coliseo Pedro Julio Nolasco in La Romana.
This will be Martin’s third title fight of her career. She first fought but lost for the interim WBA World female super bantamweight title against Liliana Palmera by a 6th round knockout in 2015.
Martin, 34, then dropped a unanimous decision to Jennifer Han for the IBF World female featherweight crown in 2016.
