WBC silver super-lightweight champion Ohara Davies (15-0-0, 12 KO’S) makes the second defense of his belt when he faces his compatriot Josh Taylor (9-0-0 8 KO’S) on July 8 at the Braehead Arena in Scotland.
Davies won the Silver title by clearly defeating Italian Andrea Scarpa in an entertaining match held in London. In March he made the first defense of his Silver belt by defeating Derry Mathews by TKO in the third round.
Meanwhile Taylor, is current British Empire super lightweight king and in his most recent combat, he knocked out Warren Joubert, in the sixth.
