Brave, intrepid, accomplished and amiable Saul “Baby” Juarez (24-8-2, 13), will challenge Japan`s Ken Shiro (14-0, 8 KO’s), the World Boxing Council light flyweight champion, on December 30 at the Ota-City gym General of Tokyo, Japan, on a card that will be broadcast by Fuji TV.
Saul visited the WBC office at Mexico City for the pre-weigh in, two weeks before the combat, registering 113.7 pounds, clearly showing that he`s in tremendous shape to fight “Smiling” Shiro.
This`ll be Saul`s second world title opportunity. The first was in 2016 when he faced the WBC minimum champion, Thai Wanheng Menayothin, being defeated by decision.
