Months after his gold medal clinch in sambo at the 30th South East Asian Games, Mark Striegl flew to Las Vegas to officially inscribe his name for a four-fight contract in the world’s biggest Mixed Martial arts stage, the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
With his current 4-win streak, Baguio’s Striegl is looking to an even match in his UFC debut on August 22 as a prelim card in the Munoz-Edgar headline fight night at the APEX center in LV.
In an exclusive interview with Fight News Asia, Mugen revealed he hasn’t stopped training after his SEA Games win,as his team recently found abode in downtown Las Vegas and is currently training at Syndicate MMA, as soon as they got the call for this upcoming match.
Arguably Asia’s busiest fighter who saw action in 10 different professional MMA promotions,Mark Striegl boasts an 18 win,15 of which are via submission,with only two losses to include a 1 no-contest.
