“Bandido” intent on “Alacran” rematch

By WBCboxing.com

The loss of his WBC super featherweight title due to busted up brows at the hands of Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt still needles Francisco “Bandido” Vargas, and motivates him to fight his way back in order to gain a rematch.

Francisco was interviewed by the Sports Science television station in a series of Mexican champions called “Los Programas”, as part of the “Green and Gold” World Boxing Council exhibition at the Mexico City International Airport.

The purpose of these conversations is to give the viewer a review of the life and times of each WBC world champion, also including  some chapters with distinguished characters, including  managers,  promoters, referees and coaches.

This time it was the turn of the former super feather world champion and twice winner of the WBC Fight of the Year accolade, who during the conversation insisted that he WILL indeed  recover  the title he lost against Miguel Berchelt, and he`s hankering after a rematch to achieve it.  But before any of this can happen, Miguel will be defending his crown against number one contender and namesake Miguel “Mickey” Roman.
