This Tuesday, with less than thirty days before the clash for the World Boxing Council bantamweight title, and as ordered by the WBC, Mariana Juarez and Japanese challenger Terumi Nuki presented the pre weigh in.
Juarez, who conquered the WBC belt by dethroning Zambian Catherine Phiri, tipped 57,500 kilograms, being inside the limit (58,870 kg), which is equivalent to the division´s 10% ; Juarez presented the weigh in in Mexico City, place where she trains.
The challenger, who is highly ranked, underwent the same procedure in Osaka, Japan. She tipped 58,700 kilograms, being declared in excellent condition to contest for the 118-pound belt on July 8 at the Benito Juarez Auditorium in Zapopan. The card will be transmitted to millions of homes by Televisa Deportes.
