Bellator returns to Italy on Saturday, and the 185-pound title will be on the line.
Middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho (184.6 pounds) and contender Alessio Sakara (184.2 pounds) made weight at the official weigh-ins Friday night in Florence, Italy, the promotion announced.
Carvalho is looking to defend the middleweight crowd a third consecutive time, while Sakara successfully made weight for his first 185-pound bout since leaving the UFC. Sakara won back-to-back fights under the Bellator banner, both at light heavyweight.
All fighters made weight for the MMA portion of the event, which takes place at the Nelson Mandela Forum and airs on Spike at 8 p.m. ET. Bellator Kickboxing immediately follows on Spike, starting at 10 p.m. ET.
