All 22 fighters for the Bellator 217 event hit the scales at The Spencer Hotel in Dublin, Ireland on Friday.
The main event duo weighed in successfully with James Gallagher registering at 136 pounds even and Steven Graham coming in slightly lighter at 135.6. Peter Queally and Myles Price successfully made weight for one of the most eagerly anticipated fights on the card. Both of the Irish lightweights came in at 155.4.
Middleweight Shaun Taylor missed weight by five pounds for his bout with Ireland’s Will Fleury. Bellator confirmed to MMA Fighting that Taylor would be fined 20 percent of his purse, but the fight would still go ahead. Featherweight Hatice Ozyurt was over by three pounds (148 pounds) and was fined 20 percent.
