Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald led the disclosed payroll for Bellator 220, cashing a flat $200,000 purse for his headlining bout against Jon Fitch.

The California State Athletic Commission released Bellator 220’s official purse list following the event on Saturday, which was first reported by MMA Junkie.

MacDonald and Fitch fought to a majority draw in the night’s main event, which also served as the final quarterfinal matchup of Bellator’s welterweight grand prix. Because of MacDonald’s status as champion and the nature of the tournament, “The Red King” ultimately advanced to a semifinal matchup against Neiman Gracie despite his contest against Fitch ending in an anticlimactic majority draw.

Fitch earned a $140,000 purse for his performance.

Bellator 220 took place April 27 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. The night’s main card aired live on Bellator streaming partner DAZN.

Aside from the main event fighters, former Bellator champion Phil Davis ($160,000) and former WEC and UFC champion Benson Henderson ($100,000) were the only other Bellator 220 athletes to clear the six-figure mark in earnings.

Bellator women’s flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane ($75,000) and former light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary ($75,000) were the next-highest earners.

A complete list of the Bellator 220 salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as certain sponsorship incomes and discretionary earnings are not publicly disclosed.
