Bellew: “Fury against Wilder would be over in three rounds”

Badlefthook.com

As Tony Bellew appears to be nearing a showdown with Oleksandr Usyk with all the cruiserweight titles on the line, the British fighter talks a bit about the potential for Tyson Fury to back up his talk against heavyweight titleholder Deontay Wilder. To put it frankly, Bellew doesn’t give Fury much of a chance.

Bellew calls Fury a ‘vulnerable fighter’ and says that Fury would have difficulty anticipating Wilder’s attack because even Wilder doesn’t know what he’ll do next. Bellew then says he’s always thought David Haye would even beat Fury in a fight due to the style match-up.

From Sky Sports:

“He is not a big man who can absorb everything. He is vulnerable and he can be hurt, and when you are coming across guys with the speed and explosive power, like Deontay Wilder and Haye, it isn’t good.

”Fury against Wilder would be over in three rounds, at the most.”

At the moment there’s been a lot of talk of Fury really taking on Wilder in his next outing and that line of thinking seemed to get bolstered even more today when Deontay Wilder showed up and made a scene at Tyson Fury’s weigh-in.
