Berchelt WBC crown defense Vs Barros

Zanfer Promotiosn confirms that the WBC super featherweight world champion, Mexican Miguel Berchelt, will be making the third defense of his crown on June 23, against former  world champion Jonathan Víctor Barros, of Argentina.

Barros has a victory over Miguel “Mickey” Roman, who is Berchelt’s mandatory challenger. He has 41 victories, 22 of them by fast track, five losses, only one by knockout, and a draw.

Berchelt’s record is 33-1 with 29 knockouts, one of the highest percentages of knockout in the división. in his last fight he KO’d Ghanaian Maxwell Awuku in three rounds, who was the replacement of former champion Cristian Mijares.
