Considered by many fans as the top-dog at 175-pounds, unbeaten, skilled Russian by way of Kyrgyzstan Dmitry Bivol (18-0, 11 KO’s) will risk his WBA Light Heavyweight World Title against experienced hard-hitting fellow Russian Umar Salamov (26-1, 19 KO’s) from Grozny today Saturday, Dec 11, in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
During Friday’s official weigh-in, Bivol made 174¼ lbs, while his challenger Samalov came-in pretty close at 174¾, both men looking in fantastic shape, more than ready for the first bell.
It’s by no means not an easy fight for any of these two strong combatants, although the more known Bivol is favorite among betting fans to retain strap.
Will that happen? That we have to find out.
Plus, is it highly likely that this tough war of Dmitry Bivol against the bearded Salamov will end by way of knockout?
Yes.
