Undefeated power puncher Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez continues his march towards a WBC super featherweight Youth and then World title overwhelming Warren “Braveheart” Mambuanag in two brief but rather memorable rounds.
To his credit, the taller Warren immediately went on to the attack, trying to use his extra height and reach to his advantage. But digs to the ribs and then right hands upstairs, momentarily froze the fighter from the Phillippines in his tracks. He`d felt their power!
In the second round Rocky dipped his head to avoid incoming leather, and dropped an explosive left right combination on Warren`s jaw, which dispatched him to the canvass. Beating the count, Warren walked into a massive chopping right uppercut which timbered him. He was KO`d at one minute and twenty seconds. His expression seemed to sum it up, going something like…what hit me?
