Bob Arum thinks Srisaket Sor Rungvisai will have a short title reign

In this video interview with Fight Hub TV, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is asked about what he thought of Srisaket Sor Rungvisai’s successful title defense against Juan Francisco Estrada last weekend on HBO. Here’s what he had to say about the world champion Thai fighter:

“He’s very, very good. Very talented…But again, when they’re that weight and they fight like that, they have a very small span because you can’t take that kind of punishment, particularly on that side, on a regular basis and last long. But right now he’s very exciting, he’s a tremendous fighter.”

Now I’m not so certain that this specifically relates to size, as I think all-action fighters who take a lot to give a lot don’t necessarily last very long at any weight, but you tell me. Is Sor Rungvisai destined to wear himself out in the near future by getting into too many firefights?
