SANMAN Boxing Gym’s Jeny Boy “Camiguin Tiger” Boca and Michael “Blade” Enriquez are also both seeing action in the “T’boli Thunder 2” boxing show slated March 12 at the T’boli covered court in T’boli, South Cotabato.
Boca (12-4-0, 10 KOs) will be facing Lony Cadayday (3-1-2, 1 KO) of Cateel, Davao Oriental in 8-rounder undercard.
Boca last won via a unanimous decision against Jeffrey Alejandre last July 26 at the Gaisano Mall Atrium in General Santos City.
However, Boca previously bowed to Komgrich Nantapech last September 30 in Bangkok, Thailand.
“Babawi ako ngayon dahil gusto ko talagang maging kampeon,” said the 22-year old Boca.
Cadayday, 22, also fought but settled a split draw with Alejandre last August 23 at the Kidapawan City Gym. He last won by a UD over Aries Benavidez of MP Davao Gym last June 4 at the Almendras gym in Davao City.
Meanwhile, Enriquez (12-6-1, 8 KOs), a native of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental will be fighting Jade “Jet” Yagahon (7-7-2, 3 KOs) of Malaybalay, Bukidnon in a 6-rounder bout.
Enriquez, 25, recently fought but lost by a UD to Ardin Diale in their battle for the vacant WBC International flyweight title last December 3 at in Palawan.
He last won by a 1st round knockout against Rowel Garcia last June 26 at Gaisano Mall Gensan. Yagahon, 27, also lost in his last right to Enriquez’ stablemate Jayson Mama last Dec. 4 in Gensan.
The main event of the “T’boli Thunder 2” is the championship for the vacant WBF Asia Pacific light flyweight title between Ronie Tanallon and Arnold Garde.
The boxing event is promoted by Sanman Promotions led by Dexter Tan and JC Manangquil and supported by the T’boli Municipal Government headed by Mayor Dibu Tuan.
