DAVAO CITY — World Boxing Association Asia flyweight champion Jeny Boy “Tiger” Boca of Bukidnon wants to knockout Muhammad “Falcon” Waseem of Pakistan on Dec. 19 at the Governor House Punjab in Lahore.
“Lisod ug dili siguro me mudaug kung mahuman lang ang round mao nga KO lang dyud ang puede dire,” (It ‘s hard and I’m not sure if we will win if the round is over so I’m just gonna KO) said Boca.
Boca (14W-6L-0D, 12KOs) said that it will be sure if he will knockout Waseem.
Boca tipped the scales at 51.4 while Waseem made it at 51.6.
They will be fighting only for a 10-round non-title fight.
Boca, who is accompanied by Coach Alan Alegria recently won a technical knockout in the 4th round against Sarawut Thawornkham of Thailand last March 1, 2020, to win the vacant WBC Asia flyweight title at the Suamlum Night Bazaar in Ratchadaphisek, Bangkok.
Waseem (10W-1L-0D, 7KOs), on the other hand, recently beat Ganigan Lopez of Mexico by a unanimous decision last Nov 22, 2019, at Caesars Palace in Dubai.
Former WBC Silver welterweight champion Amir “King” Khan of AK Promotions is promoting this boxing event.
