Fighters are arriving in Haiti for the multi-title boxing show to be held this Wednesday at the plush Karibe Hotel Convention Center in Petionville. The first to land this Saturday was former 2 time jrLightweight World Champion Juan Carlos Salgado from Mexico. Salgado will face local favorite Evens “the Sun City Kid” Pierre in the main event battle royale. Pierre will be defending his WBA Lightweight Fedelatin title as well as his WBA #6th ranking. Pierre landed on Sunday morning from the Dominican Republic where he trains. He was received by numerous press and local TV stations. Also being welcomed was IBU World Champion and WBC Silver Champion Melissa St Vil , coming from New York. Melissa will face Diana Garcia of the Dominican Republic. Hailing from Florida, WBA light-heavyweight Fedelatin Champion Azae Augustama will be facing Dominican Wilmer Mejia while Haitian-American Wilky Campfort will cross gloves with Jeffrey Rosales out of Panama for the vacant WBA 154lbs Fedecaribe title belt.
