
Boxing community gives 2nd ‘ayuda’

DAVAO CITY – At least 175 boxers, trainers, and matchmakers again received their second ‘Ayuda’ yesterday (July 24) at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
They received rice and grocery items from the boxing community headed by Dante Almario, president of the Philippine Boxing Promoters and Managers Association.
“The giving of rice and grocery items was extended until supply last July 25,” said Almario.
Aside from Almario, the fundraising campaign was made by the Naris Foundation, Brico Santig, Bebot Elorde, Art Monis, Ace Buhain, Dave Catamora, Darwin Miller, Jose Mortell Lindaya, Orlan and Gerry Balmes, Jun Sarreal, Cal Williams, Cucuy Elorde, Yolly Alfante, Johnny and Liza Elorde, Erwin Neri, Vinice Dangley, Tony Jaro, Randy Navarro, Paul Watson, Ricky Sismundo, JR Mendoza and Jun Paderna.
