BRANDON ROBINSON EAGER TO STOP UNDEFEATED HENDERSON ON DECEMBER 7TH

Boxing Talk
By G. Leon

Greg Leon: How is everything going in training camp for your December 7th bout with undefeated Kavlin Henderson?
Brandon Robinson: Camp is going great, we’re working hard and getting stronger and stronger day by day. The workout’s are getting more intense, we’re going game speed more and more and I”m going to be ready for him on December 7th.

GL: What do you know about Henderson as a fighter?
Brandon Robinson: “I know that he’s a good boxer, I know he’s 10-0 with 6 KOs. I watched him a little bit and I picked up on certain things we can do that will benefit us. I can tell you about them, but I can show y’all better than I can tell y’all.”
GL: Does ending the year with a win over an undefeated opponent give you the momentum you’re looking for going into 2019?
BR: “Absolutely. I feel as though I’m one of the monsters out of Philadelphia. Philadelphia is known as one of the great boxing cities and a win over an undefeated fighter in 2018 should stamp me as a Philadelphia monster.”

GL: Will this fight will go the distance?
BR: “I don’t think it is and I don’t think he’s ever been touched before. He may be undefeated, but he’s never fought anybody like me. I have a great team around me and we’re working hard and well together, so since he’s fighting somebody that’s going to be punching back this fight will not go the distance.”

GL: Derrick Webster never really replied to your last challenge, are you surprised by that?
BR: “Not at all. Me and Derrick talked on the phone after that last interview and he didn’t sound like a guy who was trying to fight is all I’m going to say. This is not a friendly business, this is the hurt business and I’m coming through there to hurt. I train every day to become world champion and I live my life outside of boxing as a world champion should.”
GL: Closing thoughts for the fans.
BR: “I’m going to be stronger this fight than I was the last fight. I can feel it. It’s always gorilla season so get there early on December 7th, it’s going to be a great night of boxing.”
