Former two-division world champion Brian “Hawaiian Punch” Viloria is set to face Miguel Cartagena in eight rounds of boxing on Saturday, September 9.
The Filipino-American boxer weighed in at 113.4 pounds, while his opponent Cartagena weighed in at 113.6 pounds.
The Viloria-Cartagena bout is part of the “Superfly” card at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Superfly features a rematch between Wisaksil Wangek and Roman Gonzalez; Naoya Inoue’s US debut; and Juan Francisco Estrada versus Carlos Cuadras.
Viloria, 36, with a record of 37-5, 22 knockouts, took some time away from boxing after being released from his promotional contract with Top Rank.
