The World Boxing Super Series continues tonight from Chicago.
The World Boxing Super Series continues tonight at 8 pm ET streaming live on DAZN, with two fights in the cruiserweight division coming to you from Chicago.
In the main event, season one standout Mairis Briedis (24-1, 18 KO) will take on Noel Mikaelian (23-1, 10 KO) in a 12-round bout with the vacant WBC “diamond” title up for grabs. Briedis gave Oleksandr Usyk his toughest battle to date as a professional in the WBSS season one semifinal, and is looking to do even better in season two.
Mikaelian, also known as Noel Gevor, is looking to score the upset. He was beaten in a split decision by Krzysztof Wlodarczyk back in May 2017, but has otherwise been perfect as a pro.
In the co-feature, former titleholder Krzysztof Glowacki (30-1, 19 KO) will meet Maksim Vlasov (42-2, 25 KO) for the interim WBO cruiserweight title.
The winners of these two fights will square off in a semifinal matchup, with Yunier Dorticos vs Andrew Tabiti set for the other semifinal.
Wil Esco will be on the round-by-round call tonight. Join us!
