Undefeated World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder is vowing to land some hard fight not flight blows on unbeaten Gerald “The Black Rooster” Washington, on Saturday, February 25 at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

Adopting the tone of a hawk, rather than a dove, Deontay is promising a tailspin,  stressing:  “There are a lot of heavyweights who want  to fight me, but at the end of the day, do they really want this?  Everybody knows that Deontay Wilder has the power!

“I fight for the people, that’s what I like the most, giving the fans a great fight at a reasonable price. I come well prepared to each and every bout, to deliver a  KO.  Gerald Washington is a big guy that I’ve seen fighting a few times. I don`t think he’s ready to fight me, but he thinks so, we’ll find out on February 25th.

“I’m still training while I’m here in New York. I have Mark Breland here with me helping me.  When February 25 comes, I’ll be ready. The big fights that people want to see are going to come. I’m not afraid of anyone and I’m not going to run for anyone. My team is on the same page as me and we’re going to continue working together and moving forward.”

FOX and FOX Deportes  will start their broadcast at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT including  a couple of exciting clashes: Tony Harrison Vs. Jarrett Hurd and Dominic Breazeale Vs. Izuagbe Ugonoh.

Tickets for the event, promoted by DiBella Entertainment and TBG Promotions in partnership with Bruno Event Team, starts at $ 25 dollars and are on sale through Ticketmaster and at  AlabamaTitleFight.com.
