Kell Brook and Amir Khan still can’t even seem to agree on what they agree on. Following Khan’s announcement that Brook agreed to face him at 147lbs with a rehydration limit, and Brook saying he agreed to no such thing, Brook now tells Sky Sports that this fight shouldn’t be happening at welterweight anyway.

“It shouldn’t even be about 147 – he (Khan) had to take his underpants off in the last fight to make 147. He should be at a catchweight really.

”There is no world title on the line but I’ll go down to 147, even though he knows it will drain and kill me.

”All I have got to do is land on his chin and it’s game over.”

Brook would go on to reiterate that while he’s willing to fight at welterweight, he will not take the fight with a rehydration clause and claims that Khan essentially wants to handicap him.

Should Brook and Khan not be able to iron out an agreement Brook says there are still other big potential fights out there, dropping names such as Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, and Manny Pacquiao.

But Brook would end with a curious statement suggesting that because his two losses came as a result of broken eye sockets, it’s almost as if he’s never lost before. Make of that what you will.
