Undefeated Tijuana fighter, Luis “Panterita” Nery was presented with the WBC Silver bantamweight belt, and it proved a real struggle to get it over, his broad shoulders.

The ceremony by World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, was done during the champ’s first ever visit to Martes a Cafe weekly presser. And bearded Luis, struggled manfully having a devil of a job, getting it over his shoulders and buckled around a mini Hercules like chest.

With the belt tightly fitted over his sober charcoal gray suit jacket, Luis spoke of the next challenge in his career which will be facing in Thai fighter, in Mexico City.

After that a beeline straight for the WBC bantamweight world title which is in the iron grip of the Japan’s Shinshuke Yamanaka, who’s also a southpaw.

At this point, Luis was blunt in saying that a fight against the champion would not be easy, quipping that he must NOT drop his hands for a second. However, the Tijuana warrior earnestly vowed he WILL be the one to print the first loss on the Yamanka’s champion’s career.
