Caindog loses WBO International minimumweight title

DAVAO CITY — Jomar Caindog of Zamboanga del Norte lost his attempt to win the vacant World Boxing Organization International minimumweight title.The 24-year old Caindog bowed to Jing Xiang of China by a technical decision in the 8th round last Aug. 17 in Shenzhen, China.Caindog suffered his second defeat against 10 wins and 1 draw while 29-year old Xiang improved his record to 17 wins with 3 knockouts against 4 loses and 2 draws.Meanwhile, super featherweight Xiao Tao Su of China TKO’d Shota Yukawa of Japan in the 1st round. Xiao now has 11 wins with 6 knockouts and 1 loss while Shota suffered his 6 losses against 11 wins and 3 draws.Undefeated Xiang Li of China TKO’d Do Jin Lee of of South Korea in the 7th round to score his 5th win and his 4th knockout to win interim World Boxing Council Silver Asian Boxing Council Silver super featherweight and vacant World Boxing Organization China National super featherweight title.Do suffered his 3rd lost against 6 wins and 3 draws.
