Californian Ronny Rios who audaciously challenging World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas, on August 26th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, on the same card where Miguel Cotto and Yoshihiro Kamegai will clash, candidly admits he`s a dreamer, but stresses he`s also a striving worker and an achiever.
Ríos (28-1, 13 KO) is well aware of just what he`s up against fighting undefeated Ray (29-0, 22 KO) so to avoid the sting of defeat he`s working harder than ever before in make or break training camp.
“This is a dream come true. The time has come for my opportunity and I`m ready to capitalize upon all my effort, work and the support of my team. Rey Vargas is certainly a tough fighter and he always has good fighting strategies. We are working to neutralize Rey and win the world title. This is the absolute opportunity of a lifetime and I`m determined not to miss it,” gushes Rios, who`s already been NABF and WBC Silver champion.
