Canelo Álvarez sues DAZN and Golden Boy Promotions

The great Mexican world champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez filed a lawsuit in a federal court of the United States in the state of California against DAZN, his promoter Golden Boy Promotions, and its owner Oscar De La Hoya, alleging breach of contract and other charges.

Canelo Álvarez has not fought yet in this year 2020 and has only made three fights of the 11 fights that he signed for a period of 5 years for the fantastically astronomical record money of $ 350 million US dollars with British sports streaming service DAZN.

Apparently, the dispute stems from a disagreement in the payment of his next fight which is contractually guaranteed for $ 35 million.
