By WBCBoxing.com

World Boxing Council middleweight champion, Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, fights  Englishman Rocky Fielding, trying to conquer the third world crown in his career, this Saturday at Madison Square Garden, New York.

Both fighters attended the final presser. Canelo`s record is 50-1-2, 34 knockouts, while Fielding is 27-1, 15 knockouts.

Canelo said: ” I`m ready to make history, and I hope that people enjoy a good fight. Athletes at the level I am are tough. They all come to win and to tear off your head, which makes the opponent much more dangerous. I never underestimate anyone. I prepare 100 percent for everything and I’m ready for Saturday without a doubt. ”

Rocky Fielding: People talk a lot about the difference in size, and I have to use that a factor on Saturday night because I need to capitalize on all the advantages I have. It’s my weight division. I have been a super middleweight for a long time. I can make the weight well and he`s moving up. The sportsbooks are going to lose money.

The fight is organized by the companies Golden Boy Promotions and Matchroom Boxing, and will be broadcast by DAZN and Combate Space for Latin America.
