In the final press conference held on Wednesday, the Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez said he was confident of defeating Daniel Jacobs in one of the most anticipated events of this year.

Taking into account that Canelo is the favorite for his youth and highly complete and growing boxing talent, boxing fans predict that he can emerge victorious and even by KO.

“In boxing everything can happen and more with the knockout, which is always there, one step away. I come ready for everything, if I’m given the opportunity to knock him out, I will not hesitated in doing it and, I do not care if he’s bigger, if he’s smaller, if he’s stronger, I think I have the experience to do it and more,” said Canelo, who is considered the most famous face of boxing today.

With a record of 51 victories, 35 KO’s, one loss l, and two draws, Canelo declared himself ready to defend his WBA and WBC middleweight belts against Jacobs, the 35 fight winner and holder of the IBF belt with 29 KO’s.

Jacobs, known as “The Miracle Man”, declared: “I feel that the thirst for this fight is at its highest point. We are only three days away from a mega fight and this is the opportunity of my life, “said Jacobs, who gained great credibility by providing great battle against Gennady Golovkin.

He added: “I am very excited to enter the ring and show the world that I am the best middleweight of my generation. You are going to see fireworks, mastery in my boxing, skills, dedication, persistence and agility. Physically, this preparation was much more difficult because Canelo is agile and fast.”

The fight will be broadcast in the United States by DAZN platform and in Latin America through Combate Space.
