CANELO AND GOLOVKIN CONFIRM FIGHT

After defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Saul Alvarez  announced that his next opponent will be Gennady Golovkin, whom he will face next September 16.

“I’ve never been afraid of anyone since I was 15 years old. When I was born, fear had already dissipated.  I feel very good, I feel very happy, fight by fight I am getting better and I am sure that with Golovkin we will do many more things “, said Álvarez after the result was announced.

GGG got into the ring to confirm that the battle is a fact and acknowledged that it will be the most important challenge of his career.  “In September, get ready for a night of drama and Mexican style,” said the World Boxing Council middleweight champion.

Canelo will clash against a  higher level rival than any of the opponents he’s fought  since his loss to Floyd Mayweather.
