Linked by telephone, former WBC super flyweight champion Carlos “El Principe” Cuadras, said he rather expected a different return in which he could have emphatically shown far more.
He said that Ricardo Nunez was a complicated rival with a crafty style which did not let him fully exploit his boxing skills.
Carlos commented that despite the clear cut difficulties, he felt strong in the bantamweight division, and that with time and adequate training he`ll be invincible!
Concerning the wounds received in this fight, Carlos explained that according to the doctor’s specifications plus instructions, he must wait at least a month and a half to spar and train as he always does, in order to allow injuries to heal completely.
Determined to conquer a new championship division of the World Boxing Council, Carlos pledges that before year end, he`ll climb back into the ring, as he knows that the opportunity to contest for the title will arrive… if the wins keep coming. CC thanked all the fans for their encouraging, warm, admirable and unconditional support.
