CARNIVAL OF CHAMPIONS AT THE MEXICO CITY ZOCALO

The stars of the historic card at Mexico City’s  Zocalo  this Saturday Televisa Deportes, have their hands full due to a very busy Agenda.

The event stars Mariana “Barby” Juarez who seeks  to conquer the WBC bantamweight championship against Zambian world champion Catherine Phiri, and there’s also  Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez who will  clash with Argentine Hugo “Dynamita” Santillán for the WBC Youth crown.

This Spectacular is presented  by Promociones del Pueblo,  with the support of Cavall Sports, Playboy Mexico and Yak Casinos.

Today at  the Institute of Youth in Mexico City the fighters meet at 5 pm to share their experiences with youngsters.

On the  Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the auditorium of the National Union of Railway Workers, the traditional “Martes de Café” with the full line up of competitors.

On Wednesday 29 at 11am, a press conference  at  Televisa Chapultepec. That very same day at 4:00 p.m., there’ll be a public training extravaganza at the  Plaza de Santo Domingo, located in Republic of Brazil, corner with Belisario Domínguez in the Historic Center of Mexico City.

On Thursday, March 30, at the Viceroyalty Courtyard of the Government Headquarters Building in Mexico City, located in Plaza de la Constitución No.2, opposite the capital Zocalo, there will be a  final press conference at High Noon.    Organizers and participants will announce the details of the grand event that is planned to attract  more than 40,000 fans.

On Friday, March 31, at midday, all the participants  will present the official weigh in at the Zocalo,  located in the Plaza of the Constitution S / N in the Center

On  Saturday, April 1, the first bell will ring in the Zócalo of Mexico City at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, starting  what’s expected to be an authentic plus historic and memorable boxing fiesta!
