Cesar “Corazon” Juarez returns Saturday

Super bantamweight contender César “Corazon” Juarez returns to Tijuana on Saturday, headling an attractive Zanfer card at the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, BCN, Mexico. Juarez (22-6, 17 KOs) will face Panamanian Jorge Sanchez (18-3, 9 KOs). Both have aggressive styles and we expect a fight with plenty of action and emotion.

“Corazon” is going for his third straight win since last January, when he fell in five rounds in a bout for the WBO super bantamweight world championship against Isaac Dogboe in Accra, Ghana. Since then, he knocked out Carlos Espinoza on March and Wilner Soto in April.

Juarez is currently rated IBF #6, WBA #7, WBO #8 and WBC #11. He is hoping to land another title shot later this year.
