CFFC signs deal to air on UFC Fight Pass

CFFC is the latest MMA promotion added to the UFC Fight Pass stable.

Cage Fury Fighting Championships will now air its events on the UFC’s digital streaming service, beginning in December, sources told MMA Fighting on Wednesday. An official announcement is expected later Wednesday.

The first CFFC card to air on Fight Pass will hail from Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and take place Dec. 14. That event will feature three title fights: Cesar Balmaceda fighting for the interim lightweight belt, Pat Sabatini vs. Da’Mon Blackshear for the featherweight title and Alexander Keshtov vs. Nurbergen Sharipov for the bantamweight gold.

Also on the card, women’s strawweight prospect Miranda Granger faces Jamie Colleen and former UFC fighter Jonavin Webb returns to CFFC trying to win a fourth straight bout against Hugh Pulley.

CFFC has had the likes of Kimbo SlicePaul FelderAnthony SmithJimmie RiveraAljamain SterlingJim Miller and more on its roster.

Also of note, former UFC vice president of public relations, athlete marketing and development Dave Sholler has joined the CFFC ownership group alongside president Rob Haydak. Sholler will keep his job as the vice president of communications for the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers.
