This Saturday, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Argentine Jorge Sebastian Heiland and American Jermall Charlo will clash in a World Boxing Council elimination bout in the middleweight division, and prior to fight time, both fighters made some choice comments:
JERMALL CHARLO
“I feel great and I am ready to make my debut at 160 pounds. I’m ready to dominate this division like I did at 154 pounds. This is a bigger, better and stronger version of Jermall Charlo that everyone knows. I’m completely focused on this eliminatory match, I know I have to win to be able to be world champion in the middleweight division. ”
JORGE SEBASTIAN HEILAND
“I am grateful to all who have welcomed me to New York, I am happy to have this great opportunity and I am 100 percent prepared for what Jermall Charlo has. He is a great fighter and it will not be easy, but I have had a Incredible camp and I’ve never felt more prepared for an opportunity.”
Charlo (25-0, 19 KO’s), twin brother of current WBC super welterweight champion,Jermell Charlo, tipped 159.2 pounds.
For his part Heiland (29-4-2, 16 KO), ranked number one in the WBC lists, weighed 158.2pounds.
