CHÁVEZ, ARRAZOLA, YILDIRIM AND PERIBAN PERSPIRE TO INSPIRE

Saturday’s stars aligned in the Plaza de las Americas, for a shake out and tempered warm up, prior to the real thing on Saturday at the Palace of Culture and Communication of Zapopan, Jalisco.
In the stellar match, for the prospect of diamonds in the sky,  Kika Chávez and Ana “Bronca” Arrazola  contest Kika’s WBC flyweight belt. But also for a coveted place in the Grand Final of the WBC Diamond belt.
Kika, scrutinized and meticulously  observed by the legendary Don Nacho Beristáin, made threw light and then increasingly heavy shots, showing  great physical durability, following a spartan month and a half in the mountains of the state of Mexico.Ana is also in peak condition  to contest the WBC crown.
The semifinal corresponds to the clash for the WBC super middleweight International belt, between seasoned Mexican Marco Antonio “Quetzalcoatl” Periban and the unbeaten Turkish sensation Avni “Mr. Robot” Yildirim.
