Dereck Chisora (29-8, 21 KOs) will get his shot at redemption on December 22 when he rematches Dillian Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs) at London’s O2 Arena. The two heavyweights first met two years ago in a scrappy battle that saw Whyte take a split decision victory — something Chisora still laments.

From Sky Sports:

“What happened in Manchester two years ago was unfair. People had me winning in the fight they gave to him.

“Dillian’s improved a lot, he’s a different fighter and a good fighter but I have improved more than him.

”I can say that because I’ve been at the bottom, a couple of times and I’ve bounced back up, but now I have changed my life, I am a born again.”

Chisora credits new manager David Haye, once a bitter rival, as someone who has been pushing him to be at his best and he feels encouraged about his progress. Chisora will likely need to be in tip-top condition and as motivated as ever since Whyte has been on a roll lately, winning four straight fights since he last met Chirsora in the ring.
