Far more skilled, the stellar Nicaraguan fighter crushed the unbeaten Briton titlist
Khalid Yafai (26-1, 15 KO’s), ending him at the 29 seconds mark of
round nine to conquer the WBA Super Flyweight world title live on DAZN.
The impressive win, might open the exciting door for Chocolatito’s rematch against Mexican nemesis WBC 115 world king Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada (40-3, 25 KO’s), one of the most popular Aztec fighters today.
Chocolatito, 32, and Estrada, 29, fought seven pounds lighter at 108 lbs., seven years ago in Los Angeles, with Chocolatito edging Estrada in an entertaining 12-rounder.
The rematch would be welcomed by fans anywhere in the western coast where both star warriors pack big audiences.
