Undefeated WBC flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, (46-0, 38 KOs) dethroned previously undefeated WBC super flyweight champion Carlos “Principe” Cuadras (35-1-1, 27 KOs) by twelve round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Forum in Los Angeles. “Chocolatito” was very aggressive the whole fight. The taller Cuadras often moved to stay out of range, but had success when he stood and traded. All out war in the last few rounds. In the end, “Chocolatito” simply outworked him to claim a fourth world title in four weight divisions. Scores were 117-111, 116-112, 115-113.
