Christian Colombo is facing another UFC newcomer in Sao Paulo.
Originally slated to meet Carlos Felipe at the UFC Fight Night 119 card in Brazil on Oct. 28, Colombo now meets Marcelo Golm after Felipe was pulled from a potential USADA violation.MMA Fighting confirmed the match-up following a report by MMA Brasil.
Colombo (8-2-1) is looking for his first win inside the Octagon after going 0-1-1 in 2016, fighting to a majority draw against Jarjis Danho in his debut and losing to Luis Henrique two months later.
Golm (4-0) has won all of his fights via first-round knockouts on the regional circuit. This bout marks the first time the Brazilian heavyweight is facing an opponent with a positive record (three of his previous opponents were 0-0 in MMA).
UFC Sao Paulo takes place at the Ibirapuera gymnasium and features Derek Brunson vs. Lyoto Machida in the main event.
