“CHURRITOS” SEEKS A WIN VIA A THAI

It’s Mission Thailand for Mexican boxer Juan “Churritos” Hernandez who’s traveling to Bangkok , to contest  the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight title.

“Churritos”, ranked world number two, is on his way to fight local hero  Nawaphon Kaikanha, on March 4th.

“I feel very happy on the trip, I know that we are the visitors,  but we feel satisfied by the opportunity of making my dream come true,” said the boxer, accompanied by his team.

Although he already had title shot in August 2011, when he lost in Japan with local Kazuto Ioka for the WBC minimumweight crown, a more mature Juan considers his this upcoming  fight to be a significantly more important opportunity.

“I’m at my peak as a boxer and I have to take advantage of this,” says Juan who has a five-year streak without any defeat, producing  15 consecutive victories.
Motivated by the people who came to wish him good luck,he says this inspirational from the heart support,  gives him the strength to win, assured with the painstaking work done with Jorge Barrera and Isaac “Tortas” Bustos.

“We did a great job and although he is an excellent fighter, who has everything in his favor, I’m just one step away from achieving my golden dream, so nothing and nobody can stop me.  I will do everything possible to return home as WBC champion, I have visualized and part of achieving this is to believe it.”

He added that with an aggressive boxing style he will start looking for the knockout in the very first round, vowing “This fight is for Mexico and Mexicans.”
