Clean Boxing Program May tests report

The World Boxing Council wishes to report everything related to the Clean Boxing Program and this time, we notified the status of tests carried out in the month of May to the following fighters, who tested negative.

The WBC has an agreement with VADA, which is the voluntary anti-doping agency in charge of administering the Clean Boxing Program, which coordinates sample collection, the chain of custody, and laboratory testing. The results are:

Angelo Leo / May 28 / negative

Adam López / May 29 / negative

Avni Yildirim / May 29 / negative

Arnold Barboza / May 30 / negative

We want to thank you for your willingness to sign up for the Clean Boxing Program and especially for being exemplary athletes who testify to your honesty and total commitment to boxing,

It is imperative for the WBC to work in education and awareness to help all people involved in sport, to learn the terrible dangers of using performance-enhancing substances (PEDs), which inevitably create major life-threatening health problems.

All fighters and the boxing family, in general, are exhorted to watch the webinar, which is available on all WBC and CBP websites, containing specific information in order to learn about the risks and dangers of using these substances.
