CLOSE TO HOME- CHAMPIONS HELP KIDS IN NEED

The stars of this weekend’s boxing extravaganza in Ciudad Juárez, traveled to “Mexico My Home” to present toys and to motivate kids with smiling encouragement.

Famed Jhonny González and the talented Karina “Bella” took some time out of their training agendas, to bring toys and give smiles plus grins and hugs to children and young people.
Balls, Backpacks, Skill Games and school materials were distributed by the two fighters, who gave a brief talk to the children, insisting above all,  the fundamental importance of always persevering, but also  achieving their dreams, never letting anyone convince them that their goals are impossible.

Jhonny Gonzalez fights Francisco “Dominican Boy” Contreras, in the main battle with the WBC Latino super featherweight title on the line, while Fernandez faces Lourdes “Pequeña Lulu” Juarez, on the undercard.
