RING TELMEX-TELCEL sponsored  undefeated fighter Rey Vargas has concluded his grueling and meticulous training workload camp, in the run up to Saturday 25 February in Yorkshire, England, against Unbeaten Gavin McDonell, for the vacant WBC super bantamweight crown.

Rey who’s in an all or nothing frame of mind, announces  he’s in the best shape of his entire life. It’s the gilt edged culmination of two solid months of damned hard work at his own gym in Otumba, Estado de México PLUS. the Romanza Gym in Mexico City .

Regarding the fight, Rey said: “My opponent has few technical errors, but in a world championship fight, this is not as important as mental fortitude and resilience. I myself could have the best strategy and impeccable preparation but it wont matter a jot, if I am not physiologically ready. So we also worked  on reinforcing the mental strength factor, as  this is my GREAT opportunity.

“I am proud of the Mexican flag. I appreciate and will justify the opportunity   given me. I am contesting  the WBC world title. It’s  amazing to fulfill the dream I have always had.
“I have envisioned myself with the  great green and gold and belt… in my mind. So now, there are no pretexts, and it’s all or nothing this February 25th!”
