Chris Colbert and Tugstsogt Nyambayar met face to face at the final press conference before their bout this Saturday at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, for the WBA interim super featherweight title.

This weekend’s event will be full of excitement and will also feature the WBA lightweight eliminator bout between Dominican Michel Rivera and Spanish Jon Fernandez.

Colbert and Nyambayar talked about what they expect from the fight and their intentions to win the black and gold belt. The bout is expected to be a nice clash of styles between two young and talented fighters who are both hungry for a win.

The American Colbert has already made his talent clear and is confident of defending his belt.

“Every time I fight, it’s always something. ‘He’s fighting a hard-hitter,’ but I’ve been putting stuff out, sleeping ’em. I’ve been knocking them out, beating them up bad, and they’re still not respecting me. I guess I gotta keep doing this on Saturday night and embarrass him…I know damn well he ain’t beating me and that’s a promise…he looks chubby, no way I’m losing to him. It’s impossible!”, aseguró el norteamericano de 24 años de edad.

For his part, the Mongolian challenger cut to the chase.

“We are here to win. I’m ready for him. Two weeks’ notice is enough for me. I’m gonna whoop your ass!”, aseguró Nyambayar, quien fue nombrado retador de Colbert hace pocas semanas.

Now they just need to step on the scales on Friday and the bout will take place on Saturday. Colbert is undefeated in 15 fights, with 6 knockouts, while Nyambayar has 12 wins, 1 loss and 9 knockouts.
